Our Management
CEO Matthew N. Rebro, Jr., founded Matthew Moving Company in 1967. Originally located in Silver Spring, MD., the company moved to Clarksburg, MD. in 1974. Matthew Moving expanded its facility in 1995 and is now equipped with state-of-the-art technology, providing the most up-to-date storage and warehousing procedures. Matthew Moving serves thousands of satisfied customers each year including U.S. government employees and members of the military. Concern for our customers, good employee relations and a solid reputation are the cornerstone of our success.
Michael Marsh joined Matthew Moving Company in 1979. He started his career as a consumer salesperson and was awarded the Outstanding Sales Achievement Award for Allied Van Lines on five different occasions. Mike is very involved in several community and professional associations. In 2005, he was promoted to President of Matthew Moving Company.
Karen Williford is Vice President of Administration and has been with Matthew Moving Company since 1976. Karen started her career in a clerical role, and now oversees all administrative functions as well as human resources. Karen also serves as company liaison for outside business associates such as bankers, insurance providers and accountants.
Rick Davey started his career in the moving industry in 1974 as a long distance dispatcher for Republic Van Lines. Over the following 12 years, he held various positions with three different van lines, gaining experience with moving household goods, electronics and trade shows. Rick joined Matthew Moving Company in 1986 as Vice President of Operations. He is responsible for safety, providing moving services for our customers, truck purchases and maintenance and quality of service audits.
Bill Quinn is the Director of Consumer Sales and has been with Matthew Moving Company since 1993. Bill came to Matthew Moving as a truck driver after serving in the U.S. Navy for four years. He then moved into the warehouse as a forklift operator, and in 1999, he started his successful career in consumer sales. In 2003, Bill was promoted to his current position and is instrumental in developing new salespeople and programs that are beneficial to our customers.
Bob Bishop is the Director of International Business Development and Non-Household Goods Sales and has been with Matthew Moving Company since 2003. Bob has been in the moving industry for over 40 years and has performed almost every type of work associated with the moving industry. He has been a truck driver, crew chief, dispatcher, sales manager, general manager and ultimately the owner of his own agency. Bob now specializes in international and office relocations. One of Bob's most distinguished achievements has been handling the World Bank and International Monetary Fund's annual meetings for over 22 years. This logistical project involves the shipping of over 500,000 lbs. of sensitive computers and other material to several different cities around the world.
